About me

Sweet Socks came to us last month after being surrendered by her owners, as they were no longer in a position to look after her. She has had a quiet start to the cattery life, often choosing to stay in the safety of her castle. In recent weeks she has been coming along very well, and is now confident enough to hang out by her door and meow at us (normally to ask for some food!). She enjoys a lick mat and will have a little play once she has a few minutes to warm up. She has had some small fuss from trusted staff members, but is still hesitant about touching and strokes. We hope that once she gets the opportunity to settle into a foster home, she will continue to come out of her shell, as the cattery environment isn’t the best place for her to flourish. 

Currently we are looking for a foster home for Socks. She will need a calm, quiet home with a private room, at least initially, so she has her own safe space. Her foster home will need to be adults only, with no other cats or dogs. All equipment (such as litter, food, trays etc) will be provided for whilst she is in foster care.
