About me

Sadie came in on the 23rd of April via another RSPCA Branch. She was originally taken into them via an Inspector after being removed from a hoarding situation. Sadie was living outside in compounds with other dogs and the conditions were far from suitable. She had received very little socialisation and any interactions with people were probably quite scary for her  This was back in March 2023 and around 200 dogs were removed from the property.

Sadie is a nervous girl who is quite independent and although she has improved greatly she does not seek attention. She does enjoy off lead exercise in a secure field and is starting to play chase games with people she is more relaxed with. Sadie enjoys exploring and is becoming more confident in places she is familiar with. She likes her food and nice treats and has played with her rope toys overnight in her kennel.

Sadie is looking for quite a specific home. She needs somewhere that is not too urban and a quiet household without children or lots of people coming and going.  She will need a familiar routine and walks in places that are not busy with lots of other dogs. Sadie will need a very secure garden and any fences need to be 6ft high.

She can be quite reactive to other dogs when out on walks so any new owner will need to be prepared to put lots of time into her training and walk her in quieter areas at less busy times of the day.
