About me

Olaf came to us last month from another shelter. He is a 5 year old black male cat. He still hasn’t been with us for long, so he is settling in and acclimatising to the cattery environment. Every day he grows in confidence and will come out of his pen to say hello. He enjoys a little bit of fuss and affection once he gets to know you, but is quite hand shy and will let you know if you over fuss him or he’s unsure. It may be that he is a cat that prefers less strokes, but he might also learn to enjoy affection more in a suitable home environment. Although he has a shyer side, he also has a very playful side! It doesn’t take long for him to get in play mode once he is out of his pen. Catnip is his favourite, it brings out his bolder side!

Olaf will need a secure garden he can access, ideally via a cat flap. Initially he might be quite shy in his new home so preferably he will have his own room to temporarily settle in.
