Mackie is a very sociable boy who has made lots of doggie friends at the shelter. He has been friendly with both males and females but can find puppies a little too much! He get a little amorous with some dogs as he has only recently been neutered so he may be best as the only dog in the home.

About me

Mackie came in on the 15th of November due to a change in circumstances. He was a much loved pet and his previous owner was doing the best for him.

Mackie is a very friendly, lovely boy who enjoys fuss and attention and can be very enthusiastic with his kisses. He knows how to sit and give both paws and likes to try and sit on your lap for a cuddle. He is very clean in kennels so should be housetrained and enjoys his walks. Mackie is a little arthritic and is on some supplements for this but it does not stop him.

Mackie would like his own garden to potter about in and and sunbathe once the spring weather arrives. He needs a home where he is not left on his own for too long as he has never been used to this.

Mackie would prefer an adult only household.
