About me

Jess was surrendered to us recently, he came from a multi-cat household. He is used to living with a large number of cats, meaning he hasn’t had as much one to one experience with humans. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that he is still unsure about human interaction. Recently he has been progressing well and has started to come out of his shell – thankfully he loves treats so this has been a great way to win him over! He doesn’t yet approach for fuss or strokes, but he will accept them when there is food around. Jess simply needs some more time in a calm atmosphere to help him build up some trust.

In his next home, Jess will need a garden he can access once he is ready to go outside. It is essential that his new family are cat-experienced. Due to his shy disposition, prospective owners have the option of foster-to-adopt with Jess, meaning we can assist his new family where needed during the settling in period.
