About me

Cassie is a chatty, charismatic parrot that arrived to us on 12/01/2025. She and another parrot from the same home were transferred to us from another shelter. Cassie has been confirmed female and she has also been vet checked and microchipped.

Since the day of her arrival Cassie has been a very vocal, expressive parrot! She has many sayings and noises and will happily make fart noises at you when you least expect it. She is quite playful and enjoys interacting with us. Being a parrot, she still comes with a bite risk, so her next owners will need to be aware of this. She will need a spacious cage filled with plenty of enrichment to keep her busy. Due to her social needs, she will need to be in a household that often has someone at home to keep her company.

Cassie came to us with another bird, Alex (parakeet). We are looking to rehome them into the same home but in different cages. They will need a secure room so that they can spend plenty of time outside of their respective cages.
