About me

Buster came in on the 24th of April in an appalling state. He only weighed just over 10kg and was skin and bones. He was taken straight to our vets where he was checked over and had blood tests taken to try and find out what was wrong with him. It turned out that he was just malnourished and had not been fed! Within a week of being in our care he had already gained 5kg. He now weighs a healthy 16kg and is ready to start looking for a new home.

Buster is a friendly boy who has taken a while to bond with the staff as he was quite shut down when he first arrived. He is starting to enjoy a neck scratch, knows how to sit and has been known to play with toys when the mood takes him. Buster loves his walks and as you can see from the photos, this is when he is at his happiest.

Buster is starting to make doggie friends at the shelter but we will continue to socialise him over the next few weeks. He needs a home without cats or any small animals.

Buster is looking for an adult only, experienced home and will need his own garden. He can be a little vocal at times when he is over-excited so would not be suitable to live in a flat.
