Stella is walking well with other dogs at the shelter but can be overwhelmed when first meeting new dogs. She will need further socialisation and would be best as the only dog in the home.

About me

Stella came in on the 30th of September via the local dog warden. She was picked up as a stray and her previous owner chose to find her a new home as she was too energetic for them.

Stella is a vary friendly, affectionate girl who is happy to greet everyone she meets. She knows how to sit, lay down and give paw but will need some further training and can be quite strong on the lead when she decides she wants to go somewhere! Stella enjoys playing with toys and loves her food so should be a pleasure to train.

She can be unsure around other dogs probably due to lack of socialisation when she was younger so her new owner will need to be prepared to work on this.

Stella is looking for an active home where she will not be left on her own for too long. She will need her own garden and an owner who has plenty of time for her training.
