About me
We have recently taken in 7 ferrets from one home, they came in via an inspector as their owner could no longer care for them. The picture is just of the females. The males will not keep still for a photo!
It is a mum and her 6 babies, all growing up fast. The split is 3 females including mum and 4 males. These have not had the best start in life and came in very thin. They are gaining weight nicely now. We have neutered, vaccinated and microchipped them. Now they are feeling much more settled they are full of beans and life!. They can all be picked up but the boys are extremely wriggly and do not like being held for too long. The boys can be a little excitable which can result in nipping.
We are not looking to home them all together but would home them in pairs or groups. The males would not suit first time ferret owners but the females could be They will need a spacious set up with plenty of time out to burn off that excess energy!
