About me
Will and Amanda were brought in by an RSPCA inspector from an unsuitable home. They didn’t have the best start in life, so they have been busy learning to trust humans again. Thankfully they have come along leaps and bounds during their stay in the cattery! Will is the boldest, he loves fuss, strokes, treats and attention! He is a very lovely-natured cat, who may still have nervous moments, but on the whole seems to be ready to take on most situations. Amanda is his quiet sidekick – she isn’t fearful but she just isn’t quite sure about us humans yet. She is certainly very curious and will approach without hesitation, so she just needs some more time – and a nice home to settle in wouldn’t hurt!
These two cats are a bonded pair, so they are looking for a home together. They will need a calm environment to get settled in to – Amanda especially may need a calm period initially to get her bearings. We believe they may be okay living with older children aged 13+ who are happy to give them space and quiet when needed. Once settled, they will need a garden they can access.
As you may see in the photos, Will has opacity in both of his eyes. This doesn’t affect his daily life, sadly he came in with eye injuries that occurred at some point before arriving to the shelter. With plenty of TLC he has thrived in the cattery, and giving him daily treatments has meant he has become a very friendly, easily to handle cat. Post-adoption, the branch is open to supporting any future medication or treatment relating to Will’s previous eye injuries. Please enquire for further information.
