About me
Shay came in on the 24th of February via another RSPCA Branch. She was signed over by her previous owner as they were unable to cope. When Shay first arrived she appeared to be in some discomfort around her back end. We had x-rays done and it was found that she had very mild hip dysplasia. She is now on anti-inflammatory medication to help this and is a much happier girl.
Shay is quite a conflicted girl who outwardly appears very outgoing and confident but in reality is a very sensitive, anxious girl who gets worried in new situations. In particular she can be worried when she meets new people which results in her becoming quite mouthy and jumpy.
Once Shay is comfortable with you she is an amazing girl! She is great fun and is a cheeky, playful girl who hurls her toys around and will keep you entertained! She is housetrained, knows sit and paw and walks nicely on the lead (most of the time). She can be a little possessive over toys sometimes and does not like to share with people or dogs (only her very best friends are allowed).
Shay is looking for an adult only, bull breed (or similar) experienced home. She will need her own, secure garden.
