About me

Pookie is a young hamster who arrived to us as his owner was moving away. He is a grey Syrian hamster. He arrived to us on 17/05/2025.

Pookie is an independent little guy who spends much of his day sleeping. He comes out to party more in the evenings and overnight, so his new family will get to see much more of him than we do! He enjoys his treats and exercising in his cage. Due to his poor start in life, Pookie is looking for a home with no children as he is still quite suspicious of human hands and isn’t keen on being handled – which we are working to improve. He will need a large, spacious cage with plenty of enrichment that will keep him busy.
