Our Team

Jenny has spent more than 10 years working for the RSPCA at branches across the country. She was previously branch manager of RSPCA Central & North London, before joining our shelter team as Branch Manager in 2021. She has a rescue Staffie, two cats, two rabbits and a hamster.

Paul is Cattery Manager. He is responsible for all the homeless, stray and abandoned cats that come through our doors, which obviously keeps him busy! Paul has taken a number of cats with health issues over the years.

Michelle is the Deputy Head of Cats and joined the team in 2021. Michelle has one cat of her own.

Jesse started with us as a volunteer and joined the team in 2017. She is a full-time member of staff who works in the reception and office and also with cats and small animals. Jesse has one cat and one dog, both of which were adopted from the shelter.

Wendy started working for us in 2003. She looks after the dogs who need extra special care. Wendy has a cat of her own who was adopted from the shelter and hopes to have a dog in the near future.

Heather joined us in 2023 as an Animal Welfare Officer.

Andrew is a part time member of staff who joined us in 2022. He works mainly with the cats and small animals.

Joe works part time in the reptile unit and joined us in 2021. He has a collection of tarantulas and invertebrates at home as well as some rescue reptiles.

Catt is one of our reptile animal care assistants with a passion for education and runs our All About Reptiles workshops. She has her own collection of reptiles along with birds and dogs at home.

Megan is our new Fundraising & Events Manager after having spent years at our Worthing Charity Shop. She has one dog of her own at home.

Tori is the Branch Book Keeper who is crucial to making every penny count! She has her own dog at home.
