About me

Austin was taken in by us after he was found roaming in the area looking for scraps of food. We are unsure about his history and how he came to be in the area, we think he may have been dumped. Austin arrived to us as a bit of a tom cat, unsure about human interaction but very keen for any form of food. Now that he has settled in with us, he does approach for some strokes but still isn’t sure what to make of us. He has made good friends with a particular member of staff, so he may be a cat that prefers a one-to-one relationship.

Given his history and current preferences, we think Austin would suit a rural home with a small number of people living with him (i.e. 1 to 2 people). We would prefer him to be the only animal in the home. He has been used to living outside so he will need open access to a garden which can be his stomping ground. He may spend a lot of time roaming outdoors once he settled in his new home.
