About me
Max is a very sweet and bouncy Mastiff, shar-pei husky cross who is looking for a new home. He is just a big baby who is enthusiastic for life and is looking for an active home where he can go on lots of adventures and be his goofy silly self. He can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, he often doesn’t know his own strength.
He is a great project for someone to take on, he is such a sweet dog who is looking for someone to take the time to teach him manners and put the time in to teach him the right things. He will need a home where they are willing to take him to training classes and work with him. He will need help settling, walking on lead and lots of other things.
Max LOVES his enrichment and loves having things to work on and figure out, this is also great when teaching max to settle and that is okay to be alone. He also loves his toys and loves having someone to play with him, although teddies and soft toys will not last long with max 😉
Max is a quick learner and is making great progress here at the center.
His most favorite thing in the world is a trip to the beach!
Despite his happy go lucky attitude he can be a sensitive boy who gets worried about new objects or entering new environments, so we are looking for people who are willing to help support him when he is bouncy and full of energy, but also when he is feeling sensitive and needs some reassurance.
Please note: Max is located at RSPCA Sussex West near Chichester, not in our Brighton rehoming centre. Any meets and/or adoption will be carried out there.
