Tara came in via an Inspector as her previous owner could not cope. She is a very bouncy, lively pup who is looking for a new home with someone prepared to put time into her training.
Tara knows sit and her name on command, is ok when groomed, likes playing with some toys and is very clean in her kennel so should be housetrained. She can be quite erratic and springy on the lead at times (typical lurcher!) so will need some further work on this.
Tara is looking for a home preferably with another established dog. She has lived with another pup in her previous home and is not used to being on her own. Her new canine friend will need to be lively and playful with other dogs or they will not cope with her active nature. If there is no other dog in the home then her new owner ideally needs to already have friends with dogs that she can walk with on a regular basis.
She also needs a home where she will not be left on her own as she is still young and not used to this, the amount of time she is left will need to be built up very gradually.
Tara could live with children 8 years or older who are used to dogs but needs a home without cats or small animals.
