About me

Ziggy was surrendered to us recently as her owner could no longer look after her. She came to us on 25/07/24. As she is only just a year old, we still can’t confirm whether she is a female or male bird. For now we can only assume she is female due to the absence of a ring, but this could develop between 18 months to 2 years old.

In her next home, Ziggy will need a spacious aviary she can live in as she is able to fly. This will need to be an outdoor aviary. She is a vocal, curious bird who likes to know what you are up to. She loves her fruits and vegetables, especially apples! Whilst she is curious about her human caretakers, she still likes to keep her distance and is very much a bird that would flourish in an aviary, rather than in a home environment. Ziggy will need an owner who has had previous experience with parrots.
