About me
Snoopy came in on the 4th of October via an Inspector from an unsuitable home.
He is a very special boy who has specific needs due to being completely deaf and also partially sighted. Because of this Snoopy relies very much on his sense of smell and it takes him time to get to know new people. He can be wary and vocal with anyone new and can get spooked easily in unfamiliar situations. He is looking for an experienced owner and a quiet home environment with someone prepared to take things at his pace.
Once Snoopy has bonded with you he is a very happy, enthusiastic boy who enjoys his walks and likes to play with toys. He can still be spooked when he wakes up suddenly from sleep and it can take him a minute to adjust to his surroundings.
Snoopy enjoys the company of other dogs and has quite a few canine friends at the shelter. He needs to go to a home where there is already a resident dog who would enjoy having a companion and help guise him in his new home.
Snoopy needs an adult only home with someone prepared to come to the shelter several times to get to know him. He cannot live with children or have visiting children. Snoopy will need a secure, private garden and a quiet location.
Please contact the shelter if you are interested in Snoopy and we can discuss his needs further.
