About me
Roger and Jessica came in on the 20th of May after being removed from a multi-dog household by an Inspector. There were around 40 dogs in the home and a lot of them were quite nervous and had never been out on a walk or experienced life outside of where they lived.
Roger and Jessica are now doing really well but are both still shy with new people and have had no life experiences outside so get overwhelmed quite easily. They are looking for an experienced owner who will continue to help them gain confidence and take things at a slow pace. Roger and Jessica will need a calm, quiet home environment without children. They are still very young so will need a fairly active owner once they are ready to face the outside world.
Roger and Jessica have not been socialised with other dogs outside of their own relatives in the house so can be worried by them. We are slowly starting to socialise them at the shelter and initial introductions are going well.
They will need their own, private garden to help them settle and to aid in training. They have learnt their names since being with us but will need complete training, including housetraining.
Roger and Jessica are looking for a new home where they can remain together. Roger is a very anxious boy who would not cope very well as an only dog. He relies on Jessica and gets quite upset when he is on his own.
Anyone wishing to adopt Roger and Jessica must be prepared to commit to several meets with them at the shelter.
