Betty would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

About me

Betty came in on the 20th of May after being removed from a multi-dog household by an Inspector. There were around 40 dogs in the home and a lot of them were quite nervous and had never been out on a walk or experienced life outside of where they lived.

Betty is doing really well but is still a shy girl with new people and has had no life experiences outside so gets overwhelmed quite easily. She is looking for an experienced owner who will continue to help her gain confidence and take things at her pace. Betty will need a calm, quiet home environment without children. She is still very young so will need a fairly active owner once she is ready to face the outside world.

Betty has not been socialised with other dogs outside of her own relatives in the house so can be vocal and worried by them. We will start to socialise her at the shelter when we feel she is ready for it.

She will need her own, private garden to help her settle and to aid in training

Betty is still being assessed at the moment
