About me

Belle came in on the18th of August as her previous owner could no longer give her the care she needed. She arrived with a broken leg that had been operated on but unfortunately the operation did not succeed and she is now a tripod. This does not stop Belle and she loves to play and charge around on her walks.

Belle is a sensitive girl who is very affectionate once she trusts you but can be worried by new people. She is looking for a calm, patient owner who can take things at Belles pace and allow her time to settle. Belle is a lively girl who will need an active home.

Belle is a little shy of other dogs but will happily walk with them if they are not too boisterous with her. She may prefer to be the only dog in the home but we would consider her living with a small, calm dog after successful introductions at the shelter.

She needs an experienced, adult only home and would prefer there to be no visiting children either. Anyone wishing to adopt Belle will need to commit to several visits at the shelter to get to know her.
