About me
Andie and Peru came to us recently after they had been abandoned by their previous owner. They were left in the garden, free-roaming without a cage, for a week. Thankfully they were spotted the landlord on the next visit, then successfully caught by an inspector before being transported to us! Other than a few superficial wounds on Andie’s back, they have arrived to us relatively unscathed after their stressful experience. We estimate they are around 10 years old due to their general body condition. Andie is the darker one, Peru is the lighter chinchilla.
These fluffy girls have settled in well since arriving to us. They are very inquisitive and curious, and like to try and escape their enclosure if they get the opportunity. They enjoy eating herbs. They will need a proper metal cage designed for chinchillas, as they might chew through a plastic cage that isn’t designed for their species. They would benefit from knowledgeable owners.
