Basher came in to us on the 18th of April via another rescue as they were struggling to find him a new home. He had been with them for a year.
Basher is a lovely boy who is a gentle giant most of the time but can be very strong when he wants to be! He currently weighs about 56kg and still needs to gain weight so will need a new owner who is used to handling giant breeds.
Basher knows sit, paw and his name on command, is good when groomed and is clean in kennels so should housetrain easily. He likes playing with toys but does not have much stamina so tires quickly!
Basher is sociable with other dogs and enjoys walking with the friends he has already made at the shelter. He has not been tested with cats yet.
Basher will be looking for an experienced owner without young children. He would prefer somewhere not too urban and will need space and a garden to mooch around in. He is a new arrival who is still being assessed at the moment.
