Rosie came to us recently as her owner was no longer in a position to look after her. She is a black and white short haired cat aged almost 4 years old. Since coming to us, she has been very shy and unsure about being in the cattery. Slowly she has been coming out of her shell and revealing herself to be a very sweet and affectionate cat. She enjoys lots of head fuss and is always rubbing up against her bed and toys. Like many cats she is easily swayed by a few treats! She came in with another cat, Max, but unfortunately they had to be split as they weren’t getting on in the pen. Their previous owner has told us Rosie is a friendly and quiet cat.
Due to her shyness, this soft-natured girl will need to be rehomed to a patient adult-only home. We may consider applications with cat-experienced children aged 14 and over, as long as they are happy to give her space. She will need to be the only cat in the home with no dogs. We would like her to be able to access a secure garden when she is ready to go outside.
