Penny: 13 years, spayed female, Jack Russell

penny1

Penny came in on the 22nd of March due to a change in circumstances.

She is a sweet girl who knows her name on command, is fine when left and ok when groomed.  She walks well on the lead but is a little deaf so does not always hear what is going on around her!

Penny is ok with other dogs (as long as they are not too big and bouncy around her) and has lived with cats in her previous home.

She would prefer a quiet home environment without young children.

Penny is currently in a foster home.

*During lockdown and social distancing measures whilst the shelter is closed to the public, we are asking people to fill out a Perfect Match form (which can be found on the main RSPCA website) and emailing it to us at brightonrspca@gmail.com if they are interested in adopting from us. We will be in touch if we feel you may be a good fit. We hope to begin rehoming again soon, under guidelines from headquarters and DEFRA. We will resume rehoming slowly – prioritising local potential adopters, and bringing pets to your home to complete an adoption whilst we remain closed. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this unique experience.
