Otis came in on the 24th of February as part of an unwanted litter. Unfortunately he was returned to us recently for not getting along with the other dog in the home.
He is looking for a rather special home as he has ‘aortic stenosis’ (narrowing of aortic valve leading from the heart). Until he has another scan in a few months time we are not sure how this will affect him. The possibilities are either it could stay the same into old age or he could have rapid onset heart disease leading to a short life.
Otis is a very friendly, lively pup who does not know anything is wrong with him! He can be shy with new people at first but once he knows you is cuddly and affectionate and likes to play. He knows sit on command but will need further training.
Otis is good with most other dogs but can be quite bossy with other small ones, he would benefit from further socialisation. He needs a home without young children.
Could you offer this special boy a home?
