Maisie came in on the 7th of April via another rescue. She was an unclaimed stray.
Maisie is a sweet, friendly girl who was very shy on arrival but is starting to come out of her shell. She is still learning her name but does know sit on command. She walks well on the lead but can be very strong when she decides she wants to go somewhere! Maisie will need further training and is not housetrained.
Maisie is friendly with other dogs but does like to play so any dog already in the home would need to be able to cope with this (she weighs around 40kg). She has not been tested with cats yet.
Maisie is looking for an owner who is experienced with large breeds and has the time to put into her training and socialising. She will need a reasonable sized house and garden and would not suit anywhere too urban as she can be quite worried by large vehicles and traffic.
Due to Maisie being a little shy and nervous she will not be suitable to live with young children.
