Lucky: 2 years, neutered male, Staffie cross

lucky

Lucky came in on the 24th of January along with three other dogs from an unsuitable home.

He is a sweet, shy boy who is looking for a very special home. In his previous home Lucky has little to no life experiences so he is looking for a patient, experienced owner to help build his confidence.  He knows sit and his name on command but will need continued training, including housetraining.

Lucky is learning to walk nicely on a harness as he can be very worried being handled by his collar. He loves his toys and also to play with you, he can be very mouthy when excited.

Lucky is ok with other dogs and enjoys their company but needs a good introduction. He could be homed with his friend Max.

He is looking for an adult only, experienced home. Lucky takes time to trust new people and anyone interested in adopting him will need to meet him on several occasions at the shelter first.

*During lockdown and social distancing measures whilst the shelter is closed to the public, we are asking people to fill out a Perfect Match form (which can be found on the main RSPCA website) and emailing it to us at brightonrspca@gmail.com if they are interested in adopting from us. We will be in touch if we feel you may be a good fit. We hope to begin rehoming again soon, under guidelines from headquarters and DEFRA. We will resume rehoming slowly – prioritising local potential adopters, and bringing pets to your home to complete an adoption whilst we remain closed. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this unique experience.
