Doogie: 3-4 years, male, American Bulldog cross

Doogie came in on the 14th of June via another rescue.  He was picked up as a stray and never claimed.

Doogie is a friendly, affectionate boy who  knows sit, down and paw on command but would benefit from further training.  He is ok when groomed and likes playing with toys, especially squeaky ones.  He generally walks well on the lead but can be very strong if he wants to be!  Doogie is a very cuddly boy and would like to be a lap dog, if only he could fit!!

He is looking for an owner who is experienced with large breeds, preferably in a quiet location as loud noises can make him a little anxious although he is learning to overcome this.

Doogie would benefit from further socialising with other dogs as he can be anxious at first but does calm quickly and is then friendly.

He could live with teenage children who are used to dogs but needs a home without cats or small animals.
