Charlie came in on the 30th of December via an Inspector. He was picked up as a stray and when his owner was found they no longer wanted him. He was extremely skinny and malnourished when he arrived with us but is already starting to gain weight and looking much better.
Charlie can be a little shy at first but is very friendly and affectionate once he has met you. He knows sit, down, paw and his name on command, is housetrained, ok when groomed and enjoys playing with toys, especially soft ones. Charlie will need some further training and can be quite strong on the lead.
He would benefit from some further socialisation with other dogs as he is very vocal when he first meets them. If they are calm with him he is then friendly. Charlie needs a home without cats or small animals as he will chase them.
He is looking for an experienced, active owner who is prepared to put time into his training. Charlie needs a home without young children and will need a garden.
