Biggie came in on the 7th of December via another rescue as he was too strong for his previous owner.
He is a very friendly, cheeky boy who still acts like a big, bouncy puppy and doesn’t realise he weighs 46 kg and is not little anymore!! Biggie can be a little shy with new people at first but soon comes round for a biscuit. He knows sit, paw and his name on command and enjoys playing with toys, especially soft ones. Biggie can be very strong on the lead when excited and also at times quite stubborn.
He is friendly with other dogs but does not have any manners with them so some dogs can find him too much! He would prefer a home without cats or smaller animals.
Biggie is very boisterous when playing and can also be rough and mouthy when over-excited so will need an experienced owner who can manage and train him. We are looking for someone who has owned a large breed before and is strong enough to handle him.
He is looking for an adult only home and will need a garden to play in. Because of his breed vet fees and insurance will also cost more so please take this into consideration before applying for him.
Biggie is not suitable for a first time owner or inexperienced home.
